At my core, I am a champion for people. I love championing students, specifically, because they are making pivotal decisions for their futures at such a unique time in their lives. Sometimes, they just need a little support and guidance on the career development journey. That’s where we get to help. 

Students have such immense potential and are faced with so many opportunities, but this can be overwhelming at times. I enjoy this work because I can relieve some of the overwhelm and provide support that ultimately leads to students being more successful. When students experience success, I also get to share the joy.

My favorite way to spend a day

I love walking at a local park or on-campus. It’s a great way to move my body and clear my mind, and I especially enjoy the beauty of being in nature. 

My Ready to Roar advice

The relationships you build now - with friends, classmates, faculty, instructors, staff and so on - can serve as foundational building blocks for your professional network. Take time getting to know people on- and off-campus who have similar interests and values as well as who inspire and motivate you. These relationships can last a lifetime and, if properly nurtured, will be mutually beneficial avenues to professional success.
