Growing up in Louisiana, I attended LSU games as a child with my parents. As a result, I became an avid fan. After graduating, from LSU I moved to Dallas and continued my love for the university. I recently moved to Baton Rouge and knew my dream job would be working for LSU. Working at the Olinde Career Center allows me to assist employers with their hiring search. It is satisfying to know that you are making a difference not only for the employer but for the student as well.

My favorite tradition

Being in the stands of Tiger Stadium and watching pre-game is my favorite place to be on campus.

Words matter

My favorite quote is by Maya Angelou. “People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.” I think this is good advice to live by.

My Ready to Roar advice

Take chances with your involvement, and seek out leadership roles. In college, I served as the New Member Educator for my sorority, which was one of the most formative leadership experiences I have had. I was responsible for mentoring a new class of members, organizing weekly programming, and ensuring they felt supported as they joined the organization. I learned how to manage group dynamics, resolve conflicts, and lead with empathy — all skills I’ve found incredibly useful in my professional career.
