Biography
Dr. Yvette Marsh serves as the Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the LSU School of Leadership and Human Resource Development. She is ideally positioned for this important responsibility given her previous background and experience in various executive and leadership roles.
Before joining the SLHRD faculty, she served as the Assistant Vice President of Talent Management for the LSU Foundation. Her talent management and human resource oversight includes talent acquisition/recruitment, benefits, organization design, talent development, classification and compensation analysis, workforce planning, change management, coaching, mentorship, and performance management. She also previously served as the Director of Training and Development at LSU and as a senior consultant with SSA Consultants, an internationally recognized organizational development firm. She serves in executive roles on numerous boards and was named an Influential Woman in Business by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and three consecutive years as one of the Capital Region’s Top 500.
