CE Application Review

LSU School of Social Work is a provider of Continuing Education approvals as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners. 

Please note that a social worker must participate in the planning, presentation, or review of the educational offering. To request CE approval for your educational event through LSU School of Social Work, please submit the following: 

1. A completed application
2. Bio or CV for each presenter; if you are submitting more than 5 presenters for one educational offering, submit the Presenter Data Form instead
3. Copy of the certificate template which includes date, time, location, presenter(s), and the following phrase: This program was approved for x.x Type hours of continuing education credit by the LSU School of Social Work as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
4. An agenda including start and end times and any breaks
5. A copy of the evaluation offered to participants
6. A copy of any promotional materials
7. A description of the educational offerings
8. Learning objectives for each session written in the format of “Upon completion of this presentation, participants will be able to…”
9. Payment according to the fee schedule below; contact etadman@lsu.edu to request an invoice corresponding to offering

 

Fee Schedule for CE Application Review

An administrative fee is required for each educational event and is due upon application. This fee is for the review of the application and does not guarantee approval.
