Engineering Communication Studio

Clear communication is essential for effective teaching and learning. As part of LSU’s Quality Enhancement Plan, the university is expanding its award-winning communication-intensive programs through the Geaux Communicate initiative. This effort aims to ensure that all undergraduate students, no matter their major, have access to communication-focused courses and learning support.

Communication-Intensive Courses

At LSU, all faculty play a role in helping students strengthen their communication skills. That’s why communication-intensive (C-I) courses are integrated into different disciplines across the curriculum. These courses enhance students’ understanding of course material while teaching effective communication specific to their field.

The Engineering Communication Studio in the Chevron Center for Engineering Education provides support and resources to facilitate student success in C-I courses and beyond.
